For our annual staff curated exhibition, we each picked five pieces of art from the gallery based on five categories: contemporary, traditional, print, estate, and 3D. Artwork featured ranges in medium, style, and era, which we hope offers not only an insight into each of us, but also each of the artists featured in this exhibition. For the month of March, we want to focus on artworks from the gallery by highlighting our collection with an art sale event. Join us March 6 on First Friday from 5:30 - 9:00 PM for to celebrate with the Reuben Saunders Gallery. Susan Grace is a painter who lives and works in Lawrence, KS. Her work has been widely exhibited throughout the U.S., and she has received numerous awards for her work. Her paintings are in many private and public collections, including the Mulvane Art Museum, Topeka, KS and The Art of Emprise Collection, Wichita, KS. Although she studied painting in Athens, Greece, her academic background is primarily in literature and theater, and she taught courses in modern American and European literature at universities in the U.S. and at The American College of Greece in Athens, Greece.
