Pablo Picasso

Spanish (1881-1973)  Born in Malaga, Spain, Picasso was a painter, sculptor, ceramicist, print maker, stage designer, poet and playwright. He is known to be one of the greatest and most influential artists of the 20th century who pioneered cubism alongside Georges Braque, invented collage, and made contributions to symbolism and surrealism.
